New Year's Eve Celebrations at the Lake
I know it seems crazy to start thinking about the New Year when Christmas is only a few days away, but most of the
New Year’s Eve celebrations here at the Lake require reservations! There are tons of New Year’s Eve celebrations
happening here at the Lake, so it should be easy to find one near you. It can be very time consuming to research
where the best New Year’s Eve parties are going to be, what the theme is, and what band is playing. So we have
done the research for you! Below are a few of these celebrations with the details you need to decide which New
Year’s celebration you want to attend.
Ring in The New Year 2015!!
The Inn at Grand Glaize is hosting its annual New Year’s Eve celebration on New
Year’s Eve with appetizers and a cash bar starting at 6pm and dinner served at
7pm. The Ozark Mountain Oysters will be the entertainment for the evening
starting at 8:30pm. They also have a New Year’s Party Package available for the
evening it includes: appetizers, dinner, champagne toast at midnight,
entertainment, and a breakfast for two New Year’s morning. The cost is $219 per
couple in a room with no lake view and $239 for a lake view room. This is sure to

New Year’s Eve Bash!!
It’s been a big year for Old Kinderhook with the Grand opening of The Ice in December and
the Resort coming soon, and you can expect nothing less when it comes to their New Year’s Eve Bash! The festivities will start at 9pm and end at 12:30am. The entertainment for the evening will be an Elvis Presley Impersonator (should make for a very entertaining evening). They will also have a complimentary champagne toast at midnight to bring in the New Year. Reservations are required so call 573-317-3560 to confirm your attendance. Room packages are available for the evening as well.
The Ice at Old Kinderhook is hosting “Ring in the Noon Year” celebration that will be great for the entire family, on December 31st from 10am-1pm. The cost is only $12 and that includes the skate rental, session fee, hot chocolate, s’mores, and a milk and cookie toast at noon! This is a great deal and the whole family will love it! I’m sure slots will fill up fast so do not wait to reserve your spot!
Celebrations at Tan-Tar-a!!
Tan-Tar-a always has people from all over the Midwest that come to their annual New Year’s Eve celebration and this year is sure to be the same. The theme for the Grand Ballroom Celebration is Casino Party. People always come out dressed up in themed apparel. Packages start at $329 per couple and include hotel accommodations for the evening, dinner buffet, open bar from 6am-1pm, and entertainment by SH-BOOM (their last performance ever). Since the theme is Casino Party there will be gaming tables for you to “gamble” (with play money), but the more you win the more likely you are to win prizes. Tan-Tar-a also has a Family Fun New Year’s Eve package for a family of four for only $199. Around the World!
The Lodge of Four Seasons is hosting an Around the World New Year’s Eve Experience. There will be a cocktail reception at 7pm in HK’s followed by an Around the World dining experience featuring traditional dishes from around the world at 8pm. Spontaneous Serendipity will perform from 9pm-12:30am with a champagne toast at midnight to bring in the New Year. Five Turnknot and Money for Nothing
Camden on the Lake has two bands booked for the evening and packages start at only $169 (lodging included). Money for Nothing will be performing at H. Toad’s from 9pm-1am with no cover! Five Turnknot will be performing in the Kinderhook Event Center from 9pm-1am (wristband required) and an after party with a DJ from 1am-3am for registered guest! The Night to Remember package includes a four course dinner from H. Toads and breakfast on New Year’s day with mimosa and bloody mary specials! The Night to Remember Package starts at only $249. New Year’s Eve Gala
The Lake Ozarks Swing Dance club is hosting a New Years Eve Gala at The Country Club Resort and Spa from 8pm-12:30am. The cost is only $15 for members and $20 for nonmembers and guest. Two drinks, party favors, and a champagne toast are included in the admission price. There will also be a cash bar and guests are encouraged to bring a snack to share as well. If you love to swing dance or just dance period this is sure to be a fun night you won’t want to miss! The Country Club is also offering dinner and room specials as well. It is awesome that all these resorts offer dinner and room specials, so be sure to take advantage of those deals. New Year’s Eve is also filled with laughter, toasts, and lots of dancing.
