It's that time of year again! Everyone gets caught up in the hustle and bustle of the holiday season and can forget to winterize their homes. Here are some quick and easy tips to help make your home be more energy efficient and save you from bigger problems in the long run.


Chimney
Having your chimney cleaned and inspected by a licensed professional will help your chimney to operate more efficiently and also help to avoid fire hazards.

Hoses
Disconnecting your hoses is a must in the winter. Water stuck in the hose and the pipe can freeze and burst your pipes. To avoid a problem in the spring, disconnect your hose and to let the water drain out properly.

Furnace
The furnace in your home can be a source of problems in the winter if not properly taken care of. Cleaning or changing your filters will help the furnace to operate properly and efficiently.
